Im in a play and we open in 7 days was hoping someone could put the number 7 as a watermark on this picture so I could post it to my page.

Answers:

If you have the permission of the photographer it is simple enough to do. You will need the permission in writing. The photographer owns the copyright, and logically is the right person to ask to do this task. If the photographer does not agree that you should alter the image, you have no legal right to do this or cause it to be done.

I assume "put a watermark", since "out a watermark" makes no sense in your context. Always check your typing before sending!

Find as friend who has Photoshop or similar, since you are trying to modify and use a published image without permission. Keep your illegal operation in-house!

Doing what you're asking is a violation of US copyright laws. Asking for someone to commit a crime is a violation of Yahoo! Answers terms of agreement.

I assume you mean PUT a watermark instead of "out". Anyway, you will have better luck if you ACTUALLY ATTACH THE PHOTO.

Geez.

You should try Pixlr https://pixlr.com/editor/ It's an online photo editor - so you don't even have to download or install anything. It's a simplified, yet powerful, rip-off of Photoshop and it's pretty easy to use.

EDIT: Thumbs down? Since the asker didn't even provide a picture, it seemed to make much more sense to tell him how he can do it himself, quickly, easily, safely and free.

You can use any number of free image editing programs to do this. XnView does this (Tools>Batch Convert>Watermark).

Which picture?
