I am a 16 year old female with a boyfriend and I just want some nice underwear. I like my body so that’s not the problem, but my underwear draw is just pants and bras my parents buy me, so the majority of them have heart patterns or stripes or frilly edge

Answers:

Fit is important. I recommend retail shopping in some place like Macy's or better yet Soma or Victoria's Secret. Yes, you'll pay more in the latter, but they know what they are doing and you'll certainly find stuff that is sexy.

Warning: "Sexy" may be useful for a matter of minutes, but if you have to wear the thing for the entire day, find something that is comfortable as well. Yes, lingerie that is both exists and isn't prohibitively expensive.

"my underwear draw is just pants and bras my parents buy me" If you're old enough to go to HS, you should have been buying your OWN underwear, and pick WHATEVER style, color, brand you like. Every thing I owned, bought by ME. Parents are too busy supporting me, they have no time, except to the bank, church & grocery stores.

Go to the mall with your BF, or friends, and save enough money or ask from your parents & GO SHOPPING!
Teenagers buy 100% cotton, they're more absorbent, when you start having your periods, and cover more skin, more comfortable, and don't buy WHITE. There are many printed and you can find them @ Target, Victoria's Secret (if you can afford that stuff - I can, but you're 16, and I wear them), Walmart, they also sell underwear @ Rite-Aid, Walgreens.

"Now I’m becoming more sexually active I want to look good in my underwear," You know this is all wrong, right? Visit 16 & pregnant, on TV, even just one episode. . . . My sister got preg. by 17 and that ruined her life for decades, she had a baby boy.

When you start HIDING stuff from your parents, you KNOW you've done something terrible, I suggest you don't, they'll FIND OUT ANYHOW, sooner or later!

I recommend the store PINK, they generally have stores at most malls. They have cute underwear, and sometimes they have a 7 for $27. So, 7 panties for 27 dollars, which is pretty good! Also, if you don't feel comfortable about them knowing or wondering what the panties are for, start doing your own laundry, I'm sure they'll be glad!

Well, why can't you do your own washing? It's easy to hide undies. Any department store sells underwear, and Victoria's Secret sells lingerie online. Their stuff is overpriced, but even so you can get a sexy bra for $20 or less. If credit cards are the issue, give cash to one of your friends who has a credit card and ask them to buy it for you. Panties should rarely cost more than $5 a pair, and there is a huge selection.

something silky and get matched underwear

You should wear men's briefs.
You will set him off on a collision course of sexuality.

If you don’t even know what underwear to get, or where to shop for underwear, then you’re way too young for sex. Heck, even when I was a 12 year old boy, I bought my own underwear.

Buying online can be dicey unless you know the brand and have boughten from that manufacturer before. Try Victoria Secret, although pricy, they look hot. Ask your friends which brands are the cheapest yet still make you feel sexy. Not sure you should even hide them, but find a stash spot.

If you have to hide your underwear (and I assume that means hiding the fact that you are having sex), you are not mature enough to be having sex.
