Can you estimate it? And how much do you think you've spent on makeup in your lifetime?

Answers:

haha alot and i dont even wear makeup that often. it worth alot

Probably more than $1,000 on makeup in my life, I’m 21 and makeup is my passion

ugh too much

Have probably wasted many, many $$, especially on eyeliners with no staying power, mascaras that were already dried out, and foundations that were the wrong color.

Thousands. I worked as a makeup artist for 11 years so I have kits full of makeup and brushes. My brushes alone are worth at least $800 if not more. Some sable brushes alone cost $50-75 each. But they last forever. I'd rather buy a good brush for $50 that will last me 15-20 years than a $15 brush that starts losing hairs after the first use and is useless after a month or two

I'm a guy, guys don't wear makeup, do they? Hey! Thanks for the BA. Does it make up for the other 5 answers I just had reported for no apparent reason? Maybe.

I don't invest on things that makes me PRETTIER, but when I was younger, I probably spent about $20 a year!
My makeup keeps for a long time, since I use very little of it. Less is more, to me! That's another reason why I didn't continue being a model, when I tried it, when I was younger, I felt, like A CLOWN, covering my true beauty of what I am, in person, that's not ME. Why would I cover up my beauty, when I just need a 'touch of color'? You should see how my photo looks, with false lashes, rouge, the whole 9 yards, @ my sister's wedding! That wasn't me!

BEAUTY doesn't come from a box, bottle or can. How is that BEING MYSELF?

ANYONE can put on makeup!

The older you get the less makeup you should cake on your face. I just turned 65, with flawless skin looking like 40.

About $5. I don't need makeup and the only thing I use is lip gloss or chapstick
