All of your answers are in the manual.

Diane, don't complicate your life by making it more difficult. You can easily find out by READING your CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL.

It seems that your urgency is based on your desire for instant gratification... you should have READ YOUR CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL.

By reading your camera's Instructions Manual, you'll also learn more about your camera's functions, features and options, where to located them on your camera, and when and how to use them.... yes, it's ALL in your CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL and all it takes is for you to READ it. Read a few pages every night before going off to sleep, read a few pages when you sit to watch TV... do you pay attention to the commercial advertisements? IF NOT, then read a few pages while the commercial advertisements are on the TV.

Don't you want to get the best possible images possible? then READ YOUR CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL... it will tell you all about the features, functions and options your camera has to enable and help you get the best photos, how to avoid and how to overcome difficult lighting situations, too.

READ YOUR CAMERA'S INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL!

On the camera, press the button marked with a triangle pointing to the right.

In the computer, take out the camera's memory card, insert to a USB card reader then plug the whole thing to the computer's USB slot. Use Windows Explorer / File Manager / (Mac) Finder to navigate to the memory card. Double-click the first file to see it with the default graphics viewer. Normally you use the left and right arrows to go the previous or next photos in the folder.

Reading the Owner's Manual should be Very useful.

Beyond that, connecting the camera isn't the best way to get the pix out of it.
It is better to remove the SDHC from the camera and use a card reader.

Both of my laptops have built-in card readers,
but external ones are readily available and reasonably priced.

Remove the memory card and use a card reader. Do not use the camera until you have secured the pictures or you might overwrite your images. You should read the manual and know how to accomplish this. To be safe use a USB card reader in the future.

Please tell me very soon!!!
