I'm afraid of being in my 20s and not a teenager? I miss being a teenager?

So I am 19 and when I was in high school, probably 14- on I did absolutely nothing, I would cheat my way through high school and then party insanely on weekends. I drank a lot back then and I do now. I love to have a good time you only live once. However,

Answers:

I hate to admit it, but cheating is easy in high school. I'm not going to college but we can trade lives. Lol

Everyone misses being younger, when you’re a teenager sometimes you miss being a kid, when you’re an adult sometimes you miss being a teenager. If you’re constantly looking back you’ll never truly enjoy life.

Cherich the memories and move on to a brighter and more exciting time.

Yeah, I do regret it. I'm a sophomore with barely any friends or anything -- I go to a small school so I'm basically stuck. Anyways, I've never had any friends to "experiment" with ... I've never had a drop of alcohol and it's kinda annoying.

My daughter didn't party in high school at all.she never drank in college. Still doesn't drink. Never had a moment of regret. Had a great time at school.
Some drinking is ok. But if you feel that is the only way to have fun, you have a problem.
Being an adult means more responsibilities. Make big decisions that affects your life. Yes that can be daunting. But there is a time to move on and grow up. You may never be as carefree again, but that doesn't mean you won't have fun as an adult.

i was happier in my 20s, because i had money and freedom.

...but then, my teenage experience wasn't like yours. that money and freedom was really the first i'd had of either.

its a pretty scary place, I wish I could go back to, you can always enjoy the face your young compared to somebody else

Since you cheated through high school hopefully you will make it through college. Nursing is extremely difficult without having learned alot in high school. I had fun through h/s too but still made good grades. You're grown now, time to start claiming "real life"! Good luck!

that's not uncommon. it's just part of growing up. we all eventually mature and go on with our lives. you understand you can still have fun when you don't work, but you understand you need to make a living to have a good life. it's all about compromises when growing up.
