Answers:

if the cat is in indoor cat and couldn't of possibly gotten outside then don't worry too much. if the food is being eaten and the litter box is being used the cat is most likely sleeping somewhere so call anna and ask where her cat likes to hide/sleep and just make sure things are ok

Cat's probably dead by now.

Is the food still being eaten and the litter box still getting deposits? Then it's fine. Cats sleep up to 14 hours a day.

Is the cat allowed outside (I hope not). Is the food being eaten? Is the litter pan being used? If yes, then the cat is just hiding from you. Continue to leave food out, clean water, and scoop the litter pan.

If the cat is outside or goes outside this could be a big problem.

Call her right away. The cat could be hiding because she's not used to you( look in off places like drawers or cabinets). If you suspect she somehow got out of regularly goes outside, call the shelters. Good luck.

Cats are creatures of habit. If something unusual happens, they often hide or act differently.

Go to the house. Put the food out she has advised. Fill water bowl. Clean the litter.

Go back the next day or next time you are supposed to be there. Is the food gone? If so, the cat is fine.

Feed kitty each day as advised by your friend.

If the cat has not eaten it's food, then look:
-Under the bed including inside the cloth lining under the bed.
-Under the couch or inside the cloth liner.
-Behind washer/dryer.
-Behind the stove.
-In access panel by bathtub. If closed DO NOT open it.
-Basement.
-Garage.
If the cat isn't eating and isn't in any of these places, look around outside. Put food outside if kitty hasn't eaten for more than one day.

If the cat hasn't eaten for more than one day and you haven't found her, it might be time to let Anna or the emergency contact know.

If the cat is eating, there is no need to worry. A cat hiding under unusual circumstances is common behavior.

Open a can of tuna fish

I hope you didn't let it outside. If you didn't, it has to be in your house somewhere. There isn't much you can do except keep looking for it. If you let it outside in a strange place, you had better start looking for a new friend. The cat is long gone and your friend will never forgive you.
