freckles in my favorites, people

I loath those portraits made at the mall or some portrait studios. I cherish the portraits I take of my children. Nothing captures our family better than these candid shots. I would never hang anything else on my wall.
Lately I’ve been trying to figure out how to bridge the gap for people who are neither artistic nor have an expensive digital camera. What about a photographer that will go on these day trips with you? Like I go to the beach with my family. Kind of, your own personal paparazzi?
Maybe it sounds dumb but I have to figure out a way to make money, my hobby is getting expensive.

i agree with you all both, there have been many times that i wished someone could take good fun pictures of me just playing with my daughter. candid pictures are always more intresting to see, and so munch more fun to take, both for the photographer and those in the picture. if you figure out how to get started let me know, i would also love to do this.

OK, this is getting weird. We are totally on the same wavelength. First - I have never paid any one to take cheesy portraits of my son. I don’t even hang school pictures up. I put them in Andre’s scrapbook.
Next - I have spent many hours thinking about the whole personal paparazzi thing. I keep thinking that if I could start it up it would be so cool because 1. I would be getting paid to do what I like to do and 2. I would get to travel. You know? I could follow people on family trips and honeymoons to take those priceless photos everyone wants without them having to ask some stranger to take a picture while they stand there with their arms around eachother posing for the camera. Hell, I would pay someone to do it for my family trips if I had the money. It would be worth it to not have to lug the camera around. Too bad you’re not moving to Ohio. I’d love to hang out with you, we think the same way and have a lot in common.
