army boats in boats, my favorites

That’s the LSV-7 (SSGT Robert T Kuroda) on the left and the LSV-5 (Major General Charles P. Gross) on the right.
These were taken about nine weeks ago while we were vacationing in Hawaii (visiting the hubby). Just more proof that the “Army Has Boats”.

Check the Ft Eustis web site. Ft Eustis is home to the Army navy. Or google Army boats.

Yes they are Army boats I spent 6 months in Mississippi where they were built preparing them to be delivered. I can get a picture for you. Oh and I’m a Army Reservist assigned to LSV8 in Baltimore as an engineer and work as a civilian for the Dep. of Army as a full time engineer. So yes it is true, and it rides a lot better than the earlier class

Hey - mars… and those who don’t believe the army has boats…. here’s one for you! The army also has an Aircraft carrier!! My husband has been in 20 years and we’ve been stationed almost every place that has army has watercraft and we didn’t even know until we got stationed in California that the army has an aircraft carrier. It’s decomissioned and gets pulled out to sea by a tug so they can use it for training… but they have one!!

Oh yes, the U.S. Army has boats. I trained at Ft. Eustis and spent a year in Viet Nam (Feb. 68- Feb. 69)with 5th Heavy Boats on LT (Large Tug) 1957 and also a LCU (Landing Craft Utility) in the Mekong Delta supporting the 9th Inf.

But I cannot see any “army” sign. Can you prove it is an army boat?
