pyrotechnical in my favorites, nightscape

pyrotechnical

Canon EOS 20D, 56mm, iso 100, shutter 150 Seconds @ ƒ/22

We went to BayFest for the 4th and I really didn’t want to take my big camera. I wouldn’t have been able to get any fireworks shots without a tripod anyway. So I took the little camera and made some videos instead. At BayFest they have fireworks every night, so I took mine last night.

Oh, and go see them on flickr for a larger view.

Thanks, I did a lot this year to setup these shots. Took a little more time and zoomed in closer. It helps that I’ve also been doing a lot of learning about aperture. I was also about 80ft off the ground, shooting from Joe’s boat, which was conveniently adjacent to the fireworks. :)

This one’s my favorite from this series as well. It’s an excellent exposure. Have to take a look at your EXIF data … ;-)

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
