the animal is dirty and she likes it
Yeah, that’s beach sand all over my jeep because she was buried up to the frame in sand.

Every time I see this picture I giggle. It’s a background fail.

I have been offline for a while on a vacation hiatus.
We went to Molokai with our 4×4 club BentPlate. I think it will take me some time to wade through the photos. I took extra batteries, extra memory cards and a spare charger but I spent so much of my time enjoying being there that I didn’t take as many photos as I thought I would.
what if everything you had was like a castle made of sand

we jeep on weekends
Actually, we don’t just jeep on the weekends, we do it whenever we get the chance and everytime we have the chance. The black YJ with the snorkle is mine, the white YJ is hubby’s. You can see the larger sizes at flickr.

I can relate.
what they see
kaena

This was taken in front of Kaena Cave, looking toward Kaena Point.
sunset

This was supposed to be a good picture of the 30 foot waves off of Waimea beach yesterday but of coarse the traffic was so bad and I was coming from Kaneohe, that I wasn’t able to get a better shot before the sun went down.
Oh, well. There will be other waves and more sunsets.
fish & kids

I took this picture two years ago with my Canon. I found it while digging through boxes looking for those stupid tags for Christmas presents. Of coarse when I found the pictures the search for the tags came to a stop.
I miss my canon, I think I’m going to take her out today and show her the quality time she needs. I hope the kids don’t mind the fact that I wrote their names on their presents with a sharpie.

Welp, like everyone else I suppose it’s time to take the ye’ol Christmas hiatus. Just letting you know, ahead of time before posting gets sparse and everyone thinks I gave up on my photolog.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone, be safe and be naughty save Santa the trip!

This picture was taken at Ko’olina. It’s a wonderful place for a chicken like me to go snorkeling. If you ever come to Hawaii you don’t have to stay at the Ko’olina resort to visit it, there is no such thing as private beaches here. All beaches are government owned. Therefore the Ko’olina resort can not restrict your access. They do however restrict your parking.
